- Working with Python to maintain and support the application, along with any changes in Python based application
- Collaborating with the business stake holders to capture requirements and deliver as per the specifications
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Taking complete ownership that would also include clearing some support requests, answering business team questions and interacting with product engineers and providing reports
- Maintaining a high bar for quality and performance of your product with vigorous attention to detail
- Creating and maintaining internal and external knowledge base articles based on product information provided by engineering or obtained based on questions asked by users
- 4+ years of experience in software development and maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in Python
- Knowledge of Workiva is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently and comfortable knowing when to escalate to manager and stakeholders
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to work closely with Product Owners and translate functional requirements into users
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence or experience with similar tools
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong documentation skills, and a strong ability to communicate technical concepts
- Passion for the ESG & Sustainability space
- Prior experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, and visualization
- Experience with the Workiva platform and process automation using Data
- Knowledge of the ESG reporting frameworks, such as SASB, GRI, Bloomberg ESG, CDP, and TCFD
- Experience in data analytics and BI tools including but not limited to Power BI and Google Looker
- Experience in ETL tools like Alteryx, Informatica, and Azure Databricks.

Emtec is seeking a Python Developer to join our dynamic and growing automation team to maintain and support Workiva (https://www.workiva.com/en-in/ ) based applications. We are looking for someone who can own end-to-end support (including code level, configuration level, and solving customer queries) and who is passionate about providing the best solution to meet the client's needs.
